Trim those ends regularly

Hair: Fit and Trim

If you want to maintain your length, opt for a trim every four to six weeks, since any growth on short hair is more noticeable than on long hair. If you‘re ready to grow your hair out, you can wait longer — up to four-six months before your first trim, and then every six-twelve weeks after that

Some of you become afraid of a trim, try using the term “Dusting” because many stylists don’t seem to know the meaning of trim anymore:

According to Editorial Hairstylist James Pecis:

Dusting : The term people who really mean “just a trim” need to know when they go into the salon. “It’s when you literally just cut the ends of the hairs that are split or broken,”—nothing else to it.

Summer and sun can be hard on your hair, so a good dusting and using products with some protection like Wella Sun Protection Spray
